Second Growth is an established and growing group practice in the Portland Metro area of Oregon, serving Oregon and Washington clients. We exist to create social impact through therapeutic experiences, including counseling sessions, community events, educational workshops, group therapy, and working with organizations, community advocacy, and growing creative partnerships. 

We are hiring in three areas!

  • Program Lead for our newly launching Associate’s Program! A licensed supervisor with excitement and experience to supervise, mentor, teach, and train  4-6 newer clinicians in an annual cohort-style experience.
  • Licensed, full-time therapists (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) who will provide clinical counseling, community psychoeducation workshops, and group therapy as part of our therapeutic services. Nearly licensed? You’re included, too!
  • Soon to come, we will be accepting applications for our Associates Program – a step-by-step developmental journey specifically designed to support a small cohort of clinicians as they grow towards licensure. More to announce in May 2024!

Experienced Mental Health Therapists – Full Time

Our clinical therapists provide services through individual, relationships, families, community psychoeducation, and group therapy. Therapy services include treatment of adults and their relational systems. We are currently looking for licensed providers (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) with experience in full-time therapy post graduate degree alongside proven training and experience to serve adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relational stress, and trauma.  We also welcome licensed candidates who are fully-approved clinical supervisors or committed to pursuing clinical supervision status. Candidates can come  prepared to share about their specific niche, population, and specialty, as well as their therapeutic posture and theoretical orientation. This position is for employee status at full-time with full benefits and includes a compensation range between $65-$75 per clinical hour of practice, dependent on training and experience for an expected annual range between $86,000 – $93,000. Anticipated start date is NOW: between spring and early summer of 2024. We can also work with candidates who are transitioning from another life stage while simultaneously building a caseload with Second Growth.

Program Leader for our new Associates Program! – Full Time

We are launching our first cohort of Associates through our new 15-month supportive Associates Program and are looking for the right leader to nurture up and coming therapists! This role is for a licensed supervisor who has experience and excitement to supervise, mentor, teach, and train  4-6 newer clinicians in an annual cohort-style experience. Dependent on training and experience, this role comes with an expected annual range between $99,000-$106,000.

The unique time between graduation and licensure is exciting, challenging, and full of growth edges! Our step-by-step developmental journey is supported with supervision, consultation, training resources, and solidarity to build a foundation for the work and its impact. We’ll be accepting applications to bring on a small cohort of Board-Registered Associates into our Second Growth community of care and contribution. More to come soon!
