Seeds planting Care

Nurturing native seeds can take care, attention, technique, and patience. It is a great joy as an organization to put more of these seeds into the world.

We also want to equip you with additional knowledge and tips on what can help germinate and cultivate.

Our Planting Guide is revised each year based on the seeds available.

Please know that for many wildflowers, they can take two growing cycles before blooming for the first time. They are doing the work below the surface – growing root systems and collecting resources. It is often in the second year that they will be able to express and share all they’ve been up to.
