I believe it is never too late for change and recovery. If you have been struggling for a long time and find yourself looking for help with a difficult situation or feelings you that you have been facing, let’s connect together.
I understand how hard it is to be a human and how our histories, relationships, and structural oppression impact our health and wellness. I am a firm believer that we grow throughout the lifespan and that it is never too late for change and recovery.
As an artist, I understand the healing properties inherent in art making, and as a trained, licensed and board certified art therapist, I understand how to use various art making materials
and methods to tap into clients inner selves in a way that talk therapy sometimes misses. That is not to say that everyone I work with wants to do art therapy. I also use an eclectic, existential and social justice oriented lens to
understand the many layers of the human experience. I help clients find meaning and joy moving forward.
“I think that the power of art is the power to wake us up, strike us to our depths, and change us.”
~ Jhumpa Lahiri
With extensive training and experience in mental health treatment for crisis, trauma, and intensive symptoms, I draw from years of supporting situations to pace with you. I also have
training in perinatal mood disorders and am pursuing certification for perinatal mental health to support families through growth, loss, hardship, and these stressful transitions.
I am particularly interested in working with folks struggling with identity (LGBTQIA+, white guilt, and major life changes which change how we think about ourselves), depression and anxiety, trauma, and people who are embarking on the parenting journey.
I am solution focused and believe that you are the expert of your life. I am here as a mirror and confidant to help you discover the next right steps for you.
Please reach out and let’s have a 15-min consultation together! I look forward to hearing from you.
