We all have the capacity to grow given the right support, and I believe that you are the expert of your own unique experience. I’m honored to hold space for those in the healing process and help them move towards wellbeing. I particularly enjoy working with people in the LGBTQIA+, disabled, chronically ill, and/or neurodivergent communities. I work to create an affirming environment to explore identity, existing under oppressive systems, your values, history, goals, and support needs. My goal is to support you in moving through the world with more self-compassion and community care.

After graduating from the University of New Orleans with a degree in sociology, I went on to receive my Master of Social Work from Portland State University. My therapeutic approach pulls from ACT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches.

“Resilience is built into the cells

of our bodies.”

~ Resmaa Menakem

I have a special interest in interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory, and I appreciate that our minds, bodies, and environments impact our ability to be well. I have specialized training and experience in providing trauma informed and identity affirming care with LGBTQIA+ and disabled young people and adults. I’m always learning from clients as well as continuing my professional training.

My style is client-centered and focused on creating a comfortable space for you to bring your whole self into the therapy room. I’m dedicated to working with you to make therapy accessible with special care given to your emotional, physical, sensory, and communication needs. I hold space for the full spectrum of your experience and believe that you deserve the accommodations you need to receive mental health care.

I welcome all who want to embark on this journey together! Reach out for a 15 minute phone consultation.
